2025 Corinne Fuhr-Hughes Memorial Golf Event: A Record-Breaking Day of Giving

This year’s 7th Annual Corinne Fuhr-Hughes Memorial Golf Event was our most successful yet! With the highest number of golfers to date, incredible sponsors, generous donations, and a special appearance by former CFL star Craig Ellis, it was truly a day to remember.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, we raised a record-breaking $30,970.81, bringing the total raised through this event over the past seven years to more than $100,000 in Corinne’s honour. We are deeply grateful to the Welz Kehr Group for creating such a heartfelt tribute to their dear friend.

This year’s auction alone brought in $11,765, our highest total yet! From auction donors and cash gifts to a generous 50/50 winner who donated their prize back, every contribution made a difference. Already, five wishes have been granted thanks to these proceeds.

We’re especially thankful for our long-time sponsors like Dr. Fika Family Dentistry, CVS Controls, and Mortgage Connection, along with the many new faces who joined us as sponsors, donors, volunteers, and golfers.

A special shoutout goes to Craig Ellis, who joined us on the course as our Pro — bringing smiles, great shots, and even better memories.
